Michelin – starred number one has launched a brand new pre-theatre menu in anticipation of the festival season. Edinburgh’s theatre and concert – goers can now enjoy the ultimate gourmet option for pre-theatre dining. Hadrian’s Californian Wine Dinner – Thursday 8 May
Enjoy an evening of Californian wine and Scottish cuisine at Hadrian’s Brasserie. Seghesio Wines will introduce a selection of fine wines from their vineyards to complement a gourmet four course menu created by Michelin starred Executive Chef, Jeff Bland.

Hadrian’s Dish of the Week – 12 – 18 May
This week Hadrian’s seasonal dish is fantastically fresh Scottish crab. Hadrian’s will be serving this with fresh avocado and red pepper coulis, complemented by a glass of chilled New Zealand Riesling to really get you set for spring.

National Vegetarian Week at Hadrian’s 19 – 25 May
Hadrian’s will be celebrating National Vegetarian Week which kicks off on Monday 19 May with a special vegetarian menu showcasing some of the best and most versatile fresh produce from Scotland.
Number One Gourmet Wine Dinner – 30 May
This month number one is delighted to introduce a selection of award winning wines from the exclusive Italian wine producers Isole e Olena whose wine originates from the 12th Century. The dinner pairings will showcase, amongst others, the legendary Cepparello, a Sangiovese from the highest point of the vineyard and will be served alongside a superb menu created by Jeff Bland to complement the flavours of the Italian wine using fresh seasonal produce.

The Balmoral Bar
Experience our unique cocktail ‘Tasting Menu’. Our expert team of mixologists have created the cocktail equivalent of a fine dining experience, starting with the Appetizer, followed by Intermezzo, Entrée, and finishing with Dessert. This is one spring drinks experience not to be missed! £19.00 per person.
Hadrian's Family Weekend Menu
Hadrian's has launched a fabulous children’s menu with tasty options that will appeal to children under 12.
The menu is full of delicious, healthy dishes that parents will approve of, such as “Five a Day” Seasonal Scottish Vegetable Soup, Fresh Scottish Salmon Fingers with Baby New Potatoes and Garden Salad and Blairgowrie Strawberries and Vanilla Ice Cream.
Parents can dine from the À La Carte Menu or Hadrian’s seasonal Prixe Fixe menu.
After lunch Mum and Dad can relax at their table in peace with a coffee, while the children explore the restaurant’s brand new toys, including:
- Books
- Board games
- Toys
- A brand new “X Box” with all the latest kids games
- Portable DVD players.
For the younger ones there are high chairs, Balmoral colouring books and crayons and Chef will even warm baby’s milk.
