Rocco Forte's the Balmoral strengthens its sales team
Rocco Forte’s The Balmoral has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of Linda Chirnside as the hotel’s Conference and Incentive Sales Manager.
Linda will be responsible for the Conference and Incentive sector and will focus on bringing in new business and relationship building between The Balmoral, The Rocco Forte Collection and UK and international C&I agents. She will also look after the Scottish and local Edinburgh markets. Linda is currently representing The Balmoral on The Rocco Forte Collection’s annual C&I road-show in which the corporate team visits cities throughout England.
Linda brings a wealth of sales and events experience to The Balmoral. Having worked for three years as Corporate Event Sales Manager at the leading Edinburgh venue – “Our Dynamic Earth”, she has built up great relationships with key contacts in the industry. Linda has worked with top clients including The British Council, The Scottish Government and various blue chip companies on conferences, gala dinners, product launches and a number of innovative events. Linda also has experience of working within the luxury tourism sector in Scotland as Business Manager for an inbound tour operator specialising in high-end Russian and US markets.
